Pamiętacie chociaż jeden projekt stworzenia fotela który by mi wyszedł?

Powiem szczerze, do tej pory nie wyszedł mi ani jeden. I dzisiejszy wpis niczego nie zmieni...
Po raz kolejny zaliczyłam wpadkę :)

Więc dlaczego się uśmiecham?

Bo naprawdę niewiele tym razem brakowało to osiągnięcia sukcesu. Prawie się udało.
Naturalnie, jak zawsze, zapomniałam o zdjęciach z poszczególnych etapów sklejania fotela, ale konstrukcja jest tak prosta że są niekonieczne.

So why am I smiling?
Because really this time a little was missing . I almost succeeded.
Naturally, as always, I forgot about the pictures of the stages of sticking the chair, but the construction is so simple that they are unnecessary.

Po raz kolejny tworzyłam z drewnianych mieszadełek. Gdyby wszystkie były równiej szerokości, równiej grubości i proste to byłby wymarzony budulec do lalkowych mebelków, a tak.... zawsze jest nieco niechlujnie.

Once again I was creating from wooden stirrers. If all were equal in width,  thickness and beeing straight it would be a dream building material for doll furniture, but now ... everything made from them always looks sloppy.

Boki foteli to prostokąty z pochyłą poprzeczką.

Poprzeczką która jest rusztowaniem do późniejszego przyklejenia siedzeń.
Pochyłą by lalom siedziało się na nich wygodniej :)

Siedzenia są zbudowane z tektury. Spodnia cześć sklejona w jedną całość (oklejona od dołu materiałem), siedzenie i oparcie ( pokryte dwoma warstwami pikowanego materiału i oklejone od góry materiałem) które dokleiłam na samym końcu.

The sides of the armchairs are rectangles with a sloping bar.
A crossbar which is a scaffolding for future seats.
Leaning to make sitting  more comfortable :)
The seats are made of cardboard. The bottom part is glued together (covered from the bottom with  material), seat and backrest (covered with two layers of quilted material and covered with material) which I added at the very end.

Proste jak abecadło. Więc co mogłam schrzanić?

Simple as an alphabet. So what could I screw up?

No mogłam i to kilka rzeczy.

Po pierwsze: siedzenie i oparcie są za płaskie. Takie mało fajne naleśniki. Zdecydowanie powinny być przynajmniej dwa razy grubsze niż podstawa (a u mnie są prawie takie same), Może to nie razi tak bardzo przy zdjęciach kiedy lalka na nich siedzi, ale patrząc na zdjęcia samych mebelków widać ze są za płaskie.

Well, I could do a few things.

First of all: the seat and back are too flat. Look like a bad pancakes. They should definitely be at least twice as thick as the base (and in my case they are almost the same), Maybe it;s not big problem when  doll sits on them, but looking at the pictures with  chairs themselves, they are too flat.

Po drugie: choć to drobny szczegół, po sklejeniu wszystkich elementów siedzenie okazało się za długie. Gdybym skróciła je o kilka milimetrów na pewno wyglądałyby lepiej.

Secondly, although this is a small detail, the sit turned out to be too long after gluing all the elements together. If I shortened them by a few millimeters, they would certainly look better.

 I po trzecie, czego nie zobaczycie na zdjęciach, bo przy tych grubościach proporcja jest zachowana - wysokość poprzeczki. Co mi się tym razem udało, to zachowanie dobrej wysokości siedzenia do podłogi Na zdjęciach widać że nogi lalki układają się bardzo poprawnie i wygodnie. Jednak, gdyby siedzenie miało  większą grubość wszystko poszłoby do góry. Dlatego poprzeczka powinna być niżej.

Oczywiście fotele nie zagrzeją i u mnie miejsca. A szkoda bo ramy kleiłam cały tydzień....

And thirdly, what you will not see in the pictures, because with these thicknesses the proportion is preserved - the height of the crossbar. What I have managed this time, is to maintain a good height of the seat to the floor In the pictures you can see that the legs of the doll are arranged very correctly and comfortably. However, if the seat had a larger thickness, everything would go up. That is why the bar should be lower.

Of course, the armchairs  will leave my place. It's a pity because the frame was sticky all week ...
